Dr Arvind Puri is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Cairns Hospital and Ramsay Private Hospital, Australia, with extensive expertise in foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and arthroplasty. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at James Cook University and actively supervises Advanced Orthopaedic Trainees through the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA). He completed fellowships in Foot & Ankle Surgery and Arthroplasty in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Puri has held numerous international leadership positions, including Immediate Past President of the Foot & Ankle Section of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA), Chairman of the Foot & Ankle Section of SICOT, Australian National Delegate to SICOT, and Chairman of the AOA Asia Pacific Committee. He also serves on several research and trauma committees within the AOA. An internationally recognised educator and speaker, Dr. Puri has delivered lectures at major orthopaedic meetings including SICOT, APOA, AOA, and NZOA across Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. He is also actively involved in surgical education, leading annual cadaveric workshops on orthopaedic surgical anatomy at James Cook University.
